Microblink, an AI company that develops computer vision solutions for mobile and web apps is about to take part in MWC 21, the world’s largest mobile event spanning four days, from June 28 to July 1.
This year’s conference, themed Connected Impact, will take place online and in person, with Microblink choosing to attend remotely with a Virtual Exhibition Tour of its flagship product, BlinkID.
BlinkID is an AI-driven software that lets users scan any identity document with a smartphone camera or a webcam. In just a fraction of a second, it extracts personal information from ID cards, passports, driver’s licenses and other documents to make identity verification and onboarding easier and more secure.

The program will be similar to last year’s MWC Shanghai, which Microblink had attended as well. Some 40,000 people are expected to attend in person, with GSMA predicting a turnaround of 25,000 for its virtual event, which will feature exhibitors including Facebook, Google, Nokia and Sony.
