Microblink nominated for GLOMO Awards 2018

We are delighted to announce that Microblink is one of the shortlisted nominees for Global Mobile Awards 2018 in the category of Best Mobile Innovation for Commerce!
Microblink has been nominated for BlinkReceipt, our latest product that is going to take the retail industry by storm! It is a retail receipt scanner which extracts all data about consumer purchases in real time. Its main advantages: it runs text recognition (OCR) locally on a mobile device (no server-side processing), has high accuracy, and scales infinitely. It’s the most cost-effective way to collect consumer purchase data at SKU level. As with our other SDKs, another major advantage of BlinkReceipt is that is easy to integrate into existing apps and requires no investment in hardware since it supports all major mobile platforms.

Out of many possible use cases, BlinkReceipt is used for purchase validation, loyalty and reward programs, consumer panels & market research, and personal finance or lifestyle management. It currently supports receipts from all major US retailers. We are especially happy to have been recognized by the Judging Panel of GLOMOs 2018, since BlinkReceipt is currently spreading to new markets across the world, such as Europe and Southeast Asia.
