Identity of the controller
Microblink LLC, Trg Drage Iblera 10, Zagreb, Croatia, PIN: 21173725829 (hereinafter: “Microblink”), acts in the capacity of the data controller when we process your personal data as described in this Privacy Notice. Before signing up to our mailing lists, please read how Microblink processes your personal data.
Description of processing
You can subscribe to Microblink’s mailing lists via Microblink’s website by providing your email address, or via Developer Hub by selecting newsletter options. You can also subscribe to the mailing lists when downloading Microblink content. In order to subscribe to Microblink’s mailing lists, we ask you for your email address. Therefore, Microblink might collect personal data if it’s contained within such email addresses.
Signing up to receive Microblink’s emails is voluntary (based on the consent you have given). This means you can freely decide whether you want to provide your consent. The execution of rights and obligations from any agreement that forms the basis of your relationship with Microblink is not dependent on this consent, and its withholding shall not have negative consequences on your relationship with Microblink. Access to your e-mail will be granted only to authorized team members in Microblink’s marketing department, including team members in the EU and US.
Each email that you receive will contain an unsubscribe button.
The purpose of the processing
We will use your email address solely for the purpose of sending you Microblink’s mailing lists, which contain information about our products and often include special offers, as well as for streamlining Microblink sales and marketing operations. Also, in order to customize our offerings to you, please note that we might contact you directly. Registering to Microblink’s mailing lists is optional, and we will only send you our emails until you unsubscribe.
Data subject’s rights
As a user of this App and a data subject, depending on the circumstances, you have a right to:
– ask us for copies of your personal information (right of access),
– ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate or to complete information you think is incomplete (right to rectification),
– ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances (right to erasure),
– ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances (restriction of processing),
– object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances (right to object),
– ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organization, or to you, in certain circumstances (right to data portability),
– to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond.
Note that Microblink does not automatically process nor use techniques for profiling its users.
