Microblink’s solution for scanning identity documents - BlinkID - is becoming an industry standard for customer registration and onboarding. In the USA, among other use cases, it’s used to register voters in elections, register hosts on accommodation-sharing sites and to register investors on blockchain platforms. Currently, we support over 30 different types of identity documents, and our goal for BlinkID is to support all ID documents in the world.

We are searching for a software engineer who will join our BlinkID product team. You would use an already developed infrastructure and technology and help us scale BlinkID for new markets, new countries, and new document types.

You are the right person for us if you:

  • have a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
  • have at least 1 year of experience working in C++
  • have developed algorithmic thinking
  • prefer the logical approach to solving problems
  • value analytical and responsible approach to work
  • can equally well do tasks with creative focus as well as those with repetitive, more operational focus
  • can work well in a small team as well as alone
  • have good English language skills

An additional plus is if you:

  • have a basic understanding of Computer Vision principles

What will you do at Microblink? You will:

  • use developed infrastructure, development tools, and C++ APIs to add support for scanning new identity document types in BlinkID product
  • cooperate with document expert team for building the knowledge base about various identity documents
  • improve the current infrastructure and development process
