Identity of the controller

 

Microblink LLC, Trg Drage Iblera 10, Zagreb, Croatia PIN: 21173725829 (hereinafter: “Microblink”), acts in the capacity of the data controller when processing your personal data as described in this Privacy Notice.

 

Description of processing

 

Microblink’s Identity application (“App”) is made to showcase Microblink’s technology to potential customers. By entering your work email and clicking “Send” you confirm that you want to be contacted by Microblink about our technology. This means you can freely decide whether you want to give Microblink your consent or not and that you acknowledge there will not be any negative consequences on your relationship with Microblink if you choose to withhold it. Also, note that the execution of rights and obligations from any agreement that forms the basis of your relationship with Microblink is not dependent on this consent.

 

On the basis of this consent, we will use your email address for the purpose of contacting you with more information about Microblink’s technology and to check whether you would be interested in purchasing Microblink solutions. Microblink might collect personal data if it’s contained within a work email addresses you provide (e.g. first and last name). We will retain your email in our databases in accordance with Microblink’s data retention policy. Please note that keeping your email in our databases can depend on the type and duration of our relationship.

 

Access to your email will be granted to authorized team members in Microblink’s sales and marketing departments in the EU and the US. Your emails will be stored in our marketing and web analytics tools, and customer management platforms. You can find more information on these tools in Microblink’s Privacy Policy.

 

Data subject’s rights

 

As a data subject, depending on the circumstances, you have a right to:

 

  • ask us for copies of your personal information (right of access),

 

  • ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate or to complete information you think is incomplete (right to rectification),

 

  • ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances (right to erasure),

 

  • ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances (restriction of processing),

 

  • object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances (right to object),

 

  • ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organization, or to you, in certain circumstances (right to data portability),

 

  • to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond.

 

Note that Microblink does not automatically process nor use techniques for profiling its users.
